Forests, flowing curves and famous Belgian abbey beers — that’s what this tour is all about. The Ardennes Abbey Roads tour is based in Namur and takes you deep into the green heart of Wallonia. Expect smooth roads, rolling hills, river valleys and quiet countryside that feels made for motorcycles. During the two rides, you’ll pass and visit places linked to some of Belgium’s best-known beers. Think Brasserie d’Achouffe, Rochefort’s abbey brewery and a relaxing stop at Maison Leffe in Dinant. Not a history lesson — just great riding with a local flavour.
Namur is the perfect central point: compact, lively and easy to explore after your ride. In our e-book and video (soon to follow), we share what to see in town and where to stay — always with proper parking for your bike.

This 260 km loop from Namur takes you deep into the Ardennes. Expect flowing forest roads, gentle elevation changes and quiet countryside with hardly any traffic. The route keeps changing — from open rolling hills to tighter sections through the trees — before following the Meuse back north to Namur for a scenic finish. It’s varied, relaxed and simply great fun to ride. The Highlights: A coffee stop in charming Durbuy sets the tone before lunch at Brasserie d’Achouffe, home of the famous little gnome. On the way back, you pass the abbey of Rochefort — known for its Trappist beer — and finish with a well-earned stop at Maison Leffe in Dinant, overlooking the Meuse. A perfect mix of curves and character.

Ride 2 explores a different side of the Ardennes. Expect smooth secondary roads, sweeping bends and long stretches through forests and farmland. The pace flows naturally, with plenty of rhythm and variation to keep things interesting from start to finish. Another beautiful loop that starts and ends in Namur. The Highlights: Along the way, you’ll discover more quiet villages, scenic viewpoints and authentic Ardennes landscapes. As always on this tour, abbey heritage and local beer culture are never far away — but the real star of the day remains the riding itself.
